BIOGRAPHY
:
Pete Yorn was born July 27, 1974 in Montville, in the State of
New Jersey (United States). His father is a dentist and his mother
taught music. It is partly thanks to her that Pete learns the
guitar and drums. He plays in several bands before moving to Los
Angeles where he hopes to live his music. In 2000, he meets a
film producer who asked him to compose a part of the soundtrack
of the movie "Me, Myself & Irene". This recognition
allows him to release his first solo album "Music For The
Morning After" in 2001. In the footsteps of men-folks like
Bob Dylan or Leonard Cohen, Pete Yorn delivers a debut album that
earned him public favor. Over the following years, he divides
his time between composing scores for films like "Spider-Man",
"Schrek 2", "Bandits", etc.. and recording
albums. After "Nightcrawler" in 2006 Pete Yorn returns
in 2009 with two opus "Back & Fourth" and a sublime
album, produced duet with the lovely Scarlett Johansson "Break
Up". |
