BIOGRAPHY :
Hervé Vilard, whose real name René Villard, was born on 24 July 1946 in Paris (France). He was born in a taxi and will be removed from the custody of his mother to be placed in various families and orphanages where it will grow. Still a teenager, he moved to Paris. There he met Daniel Cordier who will become his guardian. Hervé Vilard loves music and takes singing lessons. Spotted by an artistic director in 1965 he recorded his first forty-five rounds: "Capri C'est Fini." The title meets a huge success and propelled the young man on the scene.

This success will allow Hervé Vilard recording his first album and making his first tour in France, but also in Europe and South America. In the early seventies, he moved to Buenos Aires (Argentina) and will continue his career in Latin America until 1978. It is the year of his return to France with the title "We" composed by Toto Cutugno. This return winner will be followed by many other success over album too rare (the last is "Cri du Coeur" in 2004). Despite this rarity, Hervé Vilard is a favorite of French.
