the war, Charles Trenet will deliver some of the most famous titles:
"Y'a D'la Joie", I sing, "Blue Flower". At
this time he received his nickname Singing Fool. During the occupation
period, as he sings of his protest song "Douce France".
After the liberation, Charles Trenet moved to the United States
where he will have good success. He returned to France in 1954
and knows a successful second career with the titles "La
Mer" or "Nationnal 7. The Sixties are dark enough for
Charles Trenet who was accused in 1963 of having sex with two
young German of 20 years (the majority is 21 years in 1963). Guilty
by the court that the murder case goes deep and it goes away from
the arts for a few years. It is in the early seventies and never
left the scene. On 19 February 2001, Charles Trenet dies of old
age at the age of 87ans. Inventor of the modern song, this great
