BIOGRAPHY :
Timbaland, whose real name Timothy Mosley Zakar, was born on 10 March 1971 in Norfolk, Virginia (United States). He made his debut in the music as a disc jockey. The musical universe is all his life and he slowly weaves his web on the world of American rap. His meeting with the rapper Barcliff Melvin, best known as Magoo, will give birth to the album "Welcome To Our World" which Timbaland will put in orbit. In 1998, he released his first solo album: "Tim's Bio: Life From Da Bassment" which will give him the recognition of the environment and especially the public. This success will allow Timbaland to immerse themselves in the shadow of the studios to produce a large number of artists: Jay-Z, Destiny's Child, Aaliyah, Missy Elliott and many more. If it's frequent appearances on the albums of artists he produced, Timbaland remains a rare solo artiste.

Fortunately for his fans, he released in 2001 and 2003, two albums with Magoo. But it is especially his last solo album "Shock Value" which was a real event in the world hip-hop. A unique sound, a more than perfect, incursions towards a more rock music and renowned guests as Elton John, Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake are the recipes for success.
