Barbra Streisand was born April 24, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York (United States). She knew since she was very young she wanted to become an actress and aged only fifteen, she made her first steps on stage in several plays. In parallel to its debut on the stage, Barbra Streisand sings in clubs in New York. It is quickly changing its name and first name of Barbara Barbra. In 1962 she met her first real success on Broadway and recorded his first album the same year. Over the years, Barbra Streisand is one of the major artists in the United States. Actress, singer, she is on all fronts and has received numerous awards, including the Oscar for Best Actress in 1968 for her performance in the musical "Funny Girl". With a dozen films to his credit and over sixty albums Barbra Streisand managed to conquer an audience of many fans and universal which is to be loved in many countries.
