BIOGRAPHY

The group was born Something A La Mode e meet Thomas Roussel (violin
and electronics) and Yannick Grandjean (cello and electronics)
in 2006 in Dijon (France). Thomas and Yannick are studying classical
music at the Conservatory of Dijon. But they are also interested
in electro music. In 2006, Thomas symphonic arrangement securities
of one of the masters of music techno, Jeff Mills, during a concert
at the Pont du Gard. It is the click. He joins the talents of
Yannick and together the two young men composing the first titles
of their group they named Something A La Mode. The group made a name
quickly in the middle and electronic signs with a record company.
In 2009, the first opus ( "SALM") the band released.
In thirteen tracks, Something A La Mode revisits the electronic dance
music by bringing a touch of new musical. |
