BIOGRAPHY :
Sade Adu, whose real name Helen Folasade Adu was born January 16, 1959 in Ibadan (Nigeria) to a Nigerian father and British mother. His parents divorced when she was three years old and her mother moved to Colchester, United Kingdom. Creator of the soul, Sade is studying fashion design for man and in parallel, she sings in a band. The song quickly became a world in which Sade flourishes. She wrote her first songs and surrounded by a group of musicians. The group took the name of its charismatic singer and released his first album ( "Diamond Life") in 1984. A mixture of jazz, soul, pop and funk album was a huge success around the world including the song "Smooth Operator" .

The group recorded three albums in four years, then a fourth in 1992 before Sade decides to pause in her career to devote himself to his family. Far from showbiz and media English (she lives in Spain) Sade is a quiet star who wants to keep the utmost discretion about his private life. In 2000, always with his faithful musicians (Stuart Matthewman (guitar), Paul Denman (bass), Andrew Hale (keyboards) and Paul Anthony Cook (drums)) recorded her debut album "Lovers Rock" which will once again be crowned Multiple awards. It is then for the fans of Sade wait ten years to return with his new album, "Soldier O f Love" in 2010. Still in the Registry soul jazz, Sade does not lose the beauty of her voice and gives us a new set of songs that make you dream.
