BIOGRAPHY :
Rodrigo y Gabriela is a duo born from the meeting of Rodrigo Sanchez (lead guitar) and Gabriela Quintero (rhythm guitar) in the early two miles to Mexico City (Mexico). The two guitarists met by becoming members of a heavy metal band. They play some time in Mexico, but failed to find contracts. They leave Mexico to settle in Dublin. There they stand out and sign a contract with a record company. Their music, a mixture of gypsy jazz, flamenco, rock, made a quick card. The band toured in many European countries, but also manages to reclaim Mexico and other Latin American countries. In 2006, with the opus "Rodrigo y Gabriela" the duo sold more than six hundred thousand copies worldwide and charm a large audience with its eclectic music. In 2009, Rodrigo y Gabriela released her third studio album "11:11" promised the same success as its predecessors.
