BIOGRAPHY

Ribak Alexander was born on 13 May 1986 in Minsk (former USSR,
now Belarus). His parents moved to Norway when he was four years.
His father a violinist and pianist, his mother gave him the love
of music. Alexander learned the violin at the age of five. Thereafter
he composed his own music and teaches singing. In 2006, he won
a contest that propelled to the front of the stage. In 2009, he
was chosen by the Norwegians to represent his country at the Eurovision
contest with the title "Fairytale." This choice is a
winner, because in May the same year Alexander won the fifty-fourth
Eurovision Song Contest. This victory is a first step towards
success for Alexander Ribak. The title is ranked first in sales
in many countries in Europe and the first album ( "Fairytales")
of the young artist was released in August 2009. |
