BIOGRAPHY :
The band Prefab Sprout was born to meet Paddy and Martin McAloon (vocals guitar, bass), Neil Conti (drums) and Wendy Smith (vocals) in 1982 in Durham (England). Their music, their rock is different from what it did at the time and the band released their first album, "Swoon" in 1984 followed the next year by "Steve McQueen". His two albums are able to show the extent of the talent of Paddy and harmonies he employed in these compositions captivate the critic who sees Prefab Sprout unparalleled group. Yet the public does not follow and it is only "Jordan: The Comeback" in 1990 that success really happens.

Despite this success, the group puts on hold and it was not until 1997 ( "Andromeda Heights") and 2001 ( "The Gunman And Other Stories") to hear new compositions on albums to moderate success. In 2003, Paddy Mc Aloon released a solo album, a strange mixture of spoken voices and sounds. He teaches at the same time it is a disease of the eye. Since Prefab Sprout has still not returned to the front of the stage, despite frequent reissues of their old albums. Finally in 2009, Prefab Sprout is back with the album "Let's Change The World With Music", a selection of titles written in 1993, but recorded recently to bring a modern touch to the band's music. Once again, Paddy Mc Aloon works miracles and has a superb album written as a declaration of love for music.
