charisma, his androgynous look, and especially his music make
the record company accepted the deal. "La Poupée Qui Dit
Non" was released in 1966 and met immediate success. The
tubes s'enchainent "Love Me Please Love Me", "All
Boats," "In The Empty House", etc.. and unleashed
passions with his lyrics that shock. In 1971, Michel Polnareff
look is found, large tinted glasses frames white and blond hair
long and curly. In 1971, he released the album "Olnareff's"
that critics considered his masterpiece. Michel Polnareff enchaine
touring and success and is one of the most popular singers of
the early seventies. Yet all will stop in 1973, he discovered
that his man has ruined the confidence and his mother died. Michel
Polnareff exile in the United States where he will continue his
career. The title "Letter to France" in 1977 announced
a future return to be effective with the 1978 album "Cuckoo
Revoilou Me" which has no commercial success expected. In
1981 "Bubbles" replace Michel Polnareff on the road
to success with its securities synthetic pop sounds. The next
album ( "Incognito"), in the same vein-mail will not
be as popular. In the late eighties, his eyesight has become weaker
and may become blind. He sank into alcohol, gain weight and grow
a beard. It records, however, without leaving his hotel his eleventh
album "Kama Sutra". A huge success. An operation to
save him from blindness in 1994 and Michel found the taste of
music. He recorded a live album "Live At The Roxy" in
1996 before a long period of silence that lasted until 2007. This
is the year that he is back on stage for a series of concerts
that will attract more than one and a half million spectators.
A live album of this series of concerts and released at the end
of 2007 Michel Polnareff announced the upcoming release of a new
