BIOGRAPHY :
Maxïmo Park was born from the encounter in 2000 at Newcastle (United Kingdom) Duncan Lloyd (guitar), Archis Tiku (bass), Lukas Wooller (keyboards) and Tom English (drums). The group fails to come forward and decided to find a real singer. Paul Smith is the singer and that he became the leader of the group. The group wrote his first songs and turns in small local theaters.

In 2004, Maxïmo Park publishes a single car is going to happen to the ears of a head of a record company that commits the group.
