Leona Lewis was born on 3 April 1985 in London (United Kingdom) an original Guyanese father and a Welsh mother. She decides to become a very young singer and inspired by artists such as Minnie Riperton, Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey. She wrote her first song at the age of twelve years and later participated in several singing competitions where she often shines. Yet luck does not smile and Leona hard to achieve breakthrough. In 2006, she was cast in "The X Factor" ( "New Star").
