BIOGRAPHY :
Jovanotti, whose real name Lorenzo Cherubini, was born 27 September 1966 in Rome (Italy). Attracted by the music, becomes Jovanotti disc jockey for a small FM radio in 1980. Radio disco, Jovanotti climbs the ranks at a time to gather in 1985 to the antenna of one of the biggest radio stations in Rome. His openness to the professional world of music allows him to leave his first single in 1987. His music, disco funk meets a great success and lets out his first album in 1988: "Jovanotti For President".

Thereafter Jovanotti will release an album a year and as it will guide his music to rap and hip-hop. In his words also Jovanotti evolution, he writes about politics and religion and became a singer engaged. Starting from 1999 with the album "Lorenzo 99 - Capo Horn" Jiovanotti manages to classify the charts in Switzerland and Austria. The fact that sings in Italian Jovianotti explains the difficulty he has to sell around the world, and it is a shame because their albums are worth a detour. Proof his last three albums ( "Lorenzo 2002 - Il quinto mondo" in 2002, "Buon Sangue" in 2005 and "Safari" in 2008) were classified into first place in sales in Italy.
