BIOGRAPHY :
Jay-Z, whose real name Shawn Corey Carter was born on 4 December 1969 in New York (United States). He grew up in the poor neighborhood of Marcy in Brooklyn, where he knows the galleys of the street, little traffic and the easy money of drugs. Yet since childhood attracted by the music, he discovered a passion for rap as a teenager. With his friend Notorious BIG, he launched himself into the music world and participates in several projects since 1989. In 1995 he founded his own label and the following year he was finally know the general public leaving his first album "Reasonable Doubt".

Throughout the album, he says his style and became one of the most popular rappers of the East Coast. It takes advantage of its reputation for producing many artists, found a chain restaurant (40/40) or become part owner of a club basketball (New Jersey Nets). In 2008, he married singer Beyoncé with whom he lived for six years already. About music, Jay-Z remains an artist who honed his projects. The release of his eleventh studio album "The Blueprint 3" takes place eight years to the day after the release of "The Blueprint" on 11 September 2009.
