BIOGRAPHY :
Philippe Jaroussky was born February 13, 1978 in Maisons-Laffitte (France). He later discovered a passion for singing when his music teacher at school encouraged him in this way. Classical music became his world and then he began violin studies that earned him first prize at the Conservatory of Versailles. Around the age of eighteen years, he gives a new direction in his training by discovering the singer-cons-tenor Fabrice Di Falco. Philippe Jaroussky is perfected and participates in several concerts. In 2001 he graduated from singing at the Conservatoire de Paris. The particularity of his voice, between child and man, and the freshness of his performances quickly made one of the major classical performers. Philippe Jaroussky multiplies recordings and recitals around the world in which he revisits the classics of Bach, Handel, Monteverdi, Vivaldi and many other yet.
