BIOGRAPHY :
Grand Corps Malade, whose real name Fabien Marsaud, was born on 31 July 1977 at Blanc-Mesnil (France). Child without worries, it is involved in the life of his neighborhood. In 1997, when he was leader of a colony, it has a serious accident in a swimming pool. It is going to take more than a year to regain partial use of his legs. It will use this period of his life to write and in 2003 when the slam (poetic verbal jousting) arrives in France, he made his first steps on the Paris scene of the Collectif 129H. He chose the name, Grand Corps Malade, referring to his disability and one meter eighty-four that measure. Slam slowly found its place and Grand Corps Malade becomes an ambassador of this movement.

In 2006, one of his buddies (S Petit Nico) it proposes to music these texts, this work gives the album "Midi 20". The public discovers the slam and falls in love with Grand Corps Malade telling stories or mixes love, life, his city, his accident. The album was rewarded by two Victoire de la Musique in 2007 and allows Grand Corps Malade consider the future with a certain serenity. In 2008, he returned with his second album, "Child In The City" which will meet with a success similar to the first and offers sixteen texts ever written as well.
