BIOGRAPHY
:
Chantal Goya, whose real name Chantal War, was born June 10, 1942
in Saigon in Indochina (now Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam) to parents
of French origin. The Indochina war pushes family Chantal to return
from France in 1946. After experiencing the great outdoors, Chantal
finds himself in Paris where she will eventually find its place
and to study journalism. In 1963 she met Jean-Jacques Debout,
then loses sight for a year. It was found by chance in the subway
and never left. Jean-Jacques Debout composed several songs for
Chantal Goya, but success is not huge. In 1975, Jean-Jacques wrote
the song "Adieu Les Jolis Scarves" for a TV show. |
