BIOGRAPHY :
Peter Gabriel was born February 13, 1950 at Chobham (United Kingdom). In 1967, while still a student, he founded with four buddies group Genesis. The group has a name and soon recorded his first album in 1969. Charisma Peter Gabriel's group provides a huge popular success. But it's also because of the charisma too important for the merger between Peter Gabriel and other members of the group is no longer possible. In 1975, Petet Gabriel left Genesis and launched a solo career. Although it enjoys a fine reputation, successful solo Peter Gabriel is not immediate and it was not until 1986 and the release of the album "So" to find the top hits with, among others, the title "Sledgehammer".

Peter Gabriel is working simultaneously on several projects and interests include the composition of film soundtrack ( "Birdy", "The Last Temptation Of Christ", "The Path to Freedom"). All these activities make him an artist who comes out only very few albums.
