BIOGRAPHY :
Fugain Michel was born on 12 May 1942 in Grenoble (France). To follow the way home, he began studying medicine he will soon leave to become assistant director. The first step in the arts opens doors and in 1964 he became composer to the record label Barclay. As such, some of his songs will be performed by the talents of the time from Dalida Hervé Vilard through Hugues Aufray. Author of his talent allows him to record his first album in 1967 with the title incontournable "I would not have time.".

In 1972, Michel Fugain founded the Big Bazaar, a group of eleven musicians who will enchainer tubes during the first part of the seventies: "Attention ladies and gentlemen", "Make like a bird", "The Acadians" etc.. In 1976, new direction for Michel Fugain leaving the Big Bazaar and will base the following year La Compagnie Michel Fugain. In 1979 he opened a workshop in Nice Musical or it will ensure the training of young artists. He will spend much of the eighties in the workshop before returning to solo in 1988 with the album "of dreams and the Wind" includes the hit "Viva La Vida". The death of his daughter Pauline Fugain in 2002 led him to think about following his career as he himself is now only summarize the essentials. In 2007, back in the studio to record the album "Thank you" in which he sings the texts written by Nougaro, Aznavour, Adamo, etc.
