1972, Michel Fugain founded the Big Bazaar, a group of eleven
musicians who will enchainer tubes during the first part of the
seventies: "Attention ladies and gentlemen", "Make
like a bird", "The Acadians" etc.. In 1976, new
direction for Michel Fugain leaving the Big Bazaar and will base
the following year La Compagnie Michel Fugain. In 1979 he opened
a workshop in Nice Musical or it will ensure the training of young
artists. He will spend much of the eighties in the workshop before
returning to solo in 1988 with the album "of dreams and the
Wind" includes the hit "Viva La Vida". It incorporates,
as a way of studios and lots of new albums regularly. The death
of his daughter Pauline Fugain in 2002 led him to think about
following his career as he himself is now only summarize the essentials.
In 2007, back in the studio to record the album "Thank you"
in which he sings the texts written by Nougaro, Aznavour, Adamo,
etc.
