| Success
is not to go, but this first step allows him to make contacts
and gain confidence in him. In 1965, with the title "Mirza"
the Nino Ferrer career finally took off. Needless successive hits
( "Le Telefon," "The Pickles" "Oh Hey,
Hey! Good!", Etc..) But the image of singer "funny"
it weighs. In 1967 he moves away from the music business and does
his return four years later with a new album. "Metronome"
passes almost unnoticed, but a milestone in the singer's career
by imposing a new style to the more distant range than in the
past. Nino Ferrer goes out nine albums until 1986 and know a lot
of successes like the song "The South" will be the hit
of the summer of 1975. Since 1986, Nino Ferrer spends more time
painting and it was not until 1993 that comes with his last two
albums "The Désabusion" and "Life In The Car".
In 1998, while preparing a new opus, his mother dies and leaves
a huge void in the life of Nino Ferrer. Do not support this absence,
he ended his days August 13, 1998 by shooting himself in the heart
in the middle of a field a few miles from his home, near Montcuq
in the Lot. He leaves his fans and an orphan but a rich musical
legacy to French music.
