BIOGRAPHY :
Stephan Eicher was born on 17 August 1960 to Münchenbuchsee (Switzerland) Yenish a father and a mother of Alsace. It is his father, jazz violinist, he has his love of music. In 1977, he was part of the short-lived punk band "The Noise Boys" and then returns to small jobs to earn a living. The music continues. In 1979, he composed his first songs on the computer of a friend and the next year up the group "Grauzone" with his brother. In 1982, he became a guitarist in the group "Liliput" and will meet the manager Martin Hess who will take his career in hand. After the album "I Tell This Night" in 1985, Stephan Eicher in 1987 recorded the album that will truly launch her career: "Silence".

Gradually, the artist moves from the world of electronic music to include more traditional instruments that will come to reach a wider audience. From 1989 he worked for most of its shares with the writer Philippe Djian what will bring a new dimension to his songs.
