BIOGRAPHY
:
The group Dez Mona was born from the meeting Frateur Gregory (vocals)
and Nicolas Rombouts (bass) in 2003 during the festival Recyclart
in Brussels (Belgium). Immediately, the two boys get along wonderfully
and write their first songs. Far from the popular musical styles,
Dez Mona creates a universe filled with jazz, gospel, Negro spirituals
and theater. The vocal performances by Gregory Frateur do the
rest, the group quickly made a name and released their first album
( "Pursued Sinners") in 2005. In 2007, to bring a new
dimension to his music, Dez Mona Bram Weijters grows with the
piano, Steven Cassiers on drums and Roel Van Camp on accordion
and released the album "Moments Of Dejection Or Despondency".
A true gem in a musical world all too often bland, the music of
Dez Mona is a real moment of magic and novelty that is confirmed
with the third installment of the group "Kommt Hilfe".
