BIOGRAPHY

Willy DeVille, whose real name was William Boray, was born on
27 August 1953 in New York (United States). In the mid-seventies,
he founded the punk band Mink DeVille. In 1977, with the title
"Spanish Stroll" is very popular in Europe and enables
the group to an honorable career. The group released six albums
before disbanding in 1985. Willy DeVille is launched into a solo
career and released his first album ( "Miracle") in
1987. In 1992, he found success through its takeover of the Latin
title "Hey Joe". Throughout the album, Willy DeVille
explores several musical styles ranging from salsa to soul through
rhythm and blues. Complete artist, he went over the modes and
studio albums released in September (the last is "Pistola"
released in 2008) before his death on 7 August 2009 of pancreatic
cancer. |
