BIOGRAPHY
:
Julian Casablancas was born August 23, 1978 in New York (United
States) of a father from Spain, founder of the Elite agency, and
a model mother, of Danish origin. As a teenager he became interested
in music and composed his first pieces. He met Fabrizio Moretti
and Nick Valensi and, together with childhood friend of Julian,
Nikolai Fraiture, the three boys climb the first pieces of their
band The Strokes. Albert Hammond Jr completes the training and
The Strokes is rapidly becoming a reference of the garage rock
music. Julian Casablancas is the principal author of the group
and without leaving The Strokes, he decided in 2009 to launch
a solo career. He released the album "Phraze For The Young"
at the end of that year, the first single ( "11th Dimension")
is a marvel of new-wave rock. |
