BIOGRAPHY :
Michel Berger, whose real name Michel-Jean Hamburger, was born November 28, 1947 in Neuilly-sur-Seine (France). He is the son of a professor of medicine, but especially a pianist mother who gives her love of music. He mastered the instrument, but focuses more on the composition and the production's interpretation. However, the mid-sixties, he recorded some forty-five rounds without much public acclaim. Regardless, Michel Berger remains a worker of the shade, it works with Bourvil, Françoise Hardy and Veronique Sanson for whom he produced two albums. In 1973, his break with the latter enables it to meet the love of his life: France Gall.

He composed for her and the couple (they married in 1976) wrote a glorious page in the history of music of the seventies and eighties. In 1978 he composed the music of the rock opera Starmania in 1980, he became a popular singer with his album "Beauséjour" and three tubes: "Some Words Of Love", "La Groupie Du Pianiste" and " The Who Sings ". He knows subsequently many other hits like "Miss Chang" or "Le Paradis Blanc" in 1990 which was his last hit solo. In 1992, he recorded his first duet album with France Gall "Double Jeopardy", a series of concerts is planned, but a heart attack on terrace August 2, 1992. Artist multifaceted, the disappearance of Michel Berger leaves a great void in French music, but he continues to live in our hearts through his music.
