BIOGRAPHY :
Asa, whose real name is Bukola Elemide, was born in September 1982 in Paris (France). His parents decided to return to Nigeria when she was a child. There she discovered a passion for music by becoming a student of music school opened by the English saxophonist Peter King. She developed her musical style between soul and pop with texts in English and Yoruba. In 2004, she sent a demo to the French Association of Artistic Action, which decided to support the young woman. Asa moved to France and give a series of concerts that allow it to meet people decisive for the rest of his career. In 2006, she signed with a record company to record its eponymous debut album coming out next year. The audience immediately falls under the spell of the girl who delivers beautiful ballads with strong songwriting and worn by his powerful voice.
